Busca'ls (Vall d'Incles)

Location and contact

Busca’ls (literally, “Search for them”) is a perfect activity to do as a family: not only will you be able to get to know the 6 most important paths in the Incles Valley, but you’ll also get to feel like authentic boy scouts, following the clues along your chosen path!

How does the game work?

Once you have read the information leaflet you have been given at the Canillo or Incles tourist office, choose one of the 6 paths the valley has to offer and get ready to walk!

Once you have started along the path, you just have to follow the directions to complete the route. Then, you will need to pay close attention along the way as you will have to find a signpost in the same colour and number of the path you have chosen; then using the system set up on the signpost itself, mark your booklet to confirm your presence in the said place. Finally, you just have to present it to the Tourist Office at Canillo and collect your prize!

What can I win?

Kids who successfully complete at least 2 of the 6 routes (remember: your leaflet must be punched at the indicated spot to prove you arrived) will win a small gift and a certificate to celebrate their effort and determination!

Adults need to complete not 2 but 4 of the 6 routes, then present their duly marked leaflet as proof at the Canillo tourist office. As well as receiving a certificate for completing the activity, adults will be entered into a draw to win 1 of 4 ski weekends for 2 people (half board and with ski pass for the Grandvalira resort). To participate, simply fill in a form with your details, which will be erased once the competition is over. The 4 prize draws will be carried out once a year, in November.

The paths to choose:

*Cabana Sorda Lake and Refuge: take in the views of one of the Incles Valley’s glacial cirques. An easy route that is ideal for families.

*Roc de l’Home Dret: on this route, you will be surrounded by forests at all times. Come and discover the stories and beliefs associated with this trail! They are sure to make an impression.

*Camí de l’Obac path: this third option is one of the easiest. You will follow a simple, mainly flat path that follows the course of the river for almost the whole route.

*Incles Mountain Pass: if you choose this route, keep in mind that you will be leaving the country! In the final part, you will arrive at the Fontargent Lakes, located on French territory.

*Juclà Lake and Refuge: this excursion is unmissable, as you will walk up to the biggest lake in Andorra! Despite the altitude, this route is suitable for families.

*Siscaró Lake and Refuge: finally, this sixth option requires a little more effort, as it involves some slopes and the odd waterfall. You will get to know the Siscaró and Baix Lakes, among others.

More useful information:

Access to the valley for vehicles is closed from mid-June to mid-September from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. But don’t worry, a transport service is available to make your trip easier: a small electric train will take you to and bring you back from the end of the road.
