La Roca de la Sabina viewpoint

Location and contact

The location of this viewpoint gives a view of an avalanche that caused great damage in the village of Arinsal in 1996.

The alpine meadows are another feature of this viewpoint. They are formed above 2,300 metres, and occupy a large part of Andorra, attracting a great variety of insects and animals at grazing times.

The last interesting point of this balcony are the high mountain birds. The crow or the red-billed chough live there all year round; the Alpine accentor in the winter months and others such as the black redstart or the citril finch only in the summer months.

This viewpoint is adapted to facilitate universal accessibility and information. It offers content in Braille, palpable reliefs and QR codes, which offer descriptions in signs language and locutions for people with visual and hearing disabilities in various languages. In addition, its design allows the access of people with reduced mobility.

You will find more information about this and other guided walking routes in the Andorra Mountain Guide.
