Recharge your batteries as you take in the views of a waterfall dozens of metres high. This is what the Cascada de Les Moles picnic area in Canillo has to offer
Can you imagine taking a break from your walk with friends or family with a waterfall dozens of metres high? This is exactly what you will find at the Cascada de Les Moles picnic area, in Canillo. It is just at the foot of the waterfall! Getting there is easy; it is located on the CG2 road in Andorra, at the 12.5 km point, around 200 metres after the hamlet of El Vilar, towards El Tarter and Soldeu.
Unlike other rest areas in the parish, like Meritxell, the Cascada de Les Moles picnic area does not offer a barbecue, but does have a small car park for a dozen cars, which can be accessed easily from the road. It also has 6 fixed tables with benches for a pleasant lunch. It even boasts a drinking fountain, where you can fill up your water bottles. On the other side of the road, you will find the Canillo Climbing Wall. It’s worth making a stop on your journey!
