Nestled deep in the Os River valley, the Bassera dels Tolls de l’Olla picnic area is ideal for a pleasant break, whether travelling on foot or by car
The Bassera dels Tolls de l’Olla picnic area appears between bends in the CG6 road, much to the traveller’s surprise. Specifically, it is located at the 4.54 km point of this thoroughfare. It is one of many picnic areas scattered over this steep valley of Sant Julià de Lòria, formed by the Os River, between sheer mountains. On the other side of the road, the crystalline water flows wildly, leaping between the rocks.
There are various barbecues and tables with seating so that you can enjoy your food with your loved ones. It also offers a bin and a drinking fountain.
As it is situated on a bend in the road, users must be careful, whether travelling on foot or by car from another point in Andorra. Other similar areas near the Bassera dels Tolls de l’Olla picnic area include Prat del Senzill and Bixessarri: both are a good alternative.
