Els Camí de les Fonts viewpoint is at an altitude of 1,645 metres on the CS-200, at Km 5-6 in the parish of Escaldes-Engordany.
From this viewpoint you can see the scots pine forest with two families of trees: the conifers with straight and thin trunks and the deciduous characterised by their smooth and white bark. The undergrowth is dominated by alpenrose, box and juniper.
The fauna comprise birds such as the European crested tit, the goldcrest, the common chaffinch and the common treecreeper, and mammals like squirrels and foxes.
Another interesting point of this path is that if you go there in the summer or autumn you can enjoy the region's wild berries. Strawberries and bilberries are just some of the varieties.
You will find more information about this and other guided walking routes in the Andorra Mountain Guide.
