To get here by train, the easiest option is via the Andorre - L’Hospitalet station It's the nearest train station to Andorra, and from the station there is a regular shuttle service to the Principality.
This French train station is on the railway line that goes from Toulouse-Matabiau to LATOUR-DE-CAROL-ENVEITG, which is in the commune of L'Hospitalet-près-l'Andorre, in the Ariège Department, in the region of Occitanie.

From the Andorre-L'Hospitalet station, you can easily reach Andorra la Vella via a shuttle bus. These buses are run by AndorraBus. Tickets can be purchased at the station.

This service started in 1929 and was operated by the “Compagnie des chemins de fer du Midi et du Canal latéral à la Garonne”. Back then, the station was owned by the French Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer (SNCF), and was part of a long-distance railway line that covered the Eastern Trans-Pyrenean route, which linked Paris to Barcelona (travellers had to change trains at the border), crossing the Pyrenees. It was also part of the TER Occitanie regional railway network.
