Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany celebrate Carnival together, with a parade and troupe contest that attracts large crowds looking for fun.
Ca la Conxita is in a quiet street in the old quarter of Andorra la Vella and very close to the Pyrénées shopping centre.
It can cater for up to 28 people. Ca la Conxita is a family establishment offering mainly market cuisine with fresh fish and traditional home cooking. Its speciality are baked mussels, but à la carte there are also outstanding dishes such as artichoke and tender garlic omelette or giant beef fillet meatballs with squid. The meals are large and there is a daily menu and à la carte. What’s more, it has large list of wines, liquors, cavas and champagnes. It is a restaurant recommended for group meals and receptions can be organised here. Proof of its good cuisine is that the restaurant won first prize for the best menu at the Festa Major d’Andorra la Vella 2012. The staff will attend you in Catalan, Spanish and French. Credit cards and pets are allowed. It is open from Mondays to Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
