The Andorra Opera Season presents Verdi's “La Traviata” on the stage of the Claror Auditorium with two shows, on the first weekend of March.
Upon arrival at Sant Julià de Lòria, a village on the border with Spain, we visit the Museum of Tobacco – Former Reig Factory, where we will learn the story of a family and one of the most important tobacco manufacturing factories at the beginning of the 20th century.
On the way back to Andorra la Vella, we head for the town of Santa Coloma where we will visit the Romanesque church of Santa Coloma, which dates from the 10th century. This charming church is one of the finest in the Principality of Andorra as well as being the only one with a circular bell tower.
After the visit to Santa Coloma, we continue to Lake Engolasters, at an altitude of 1,620 metres, where there are views over the valley. We then visit the Romanesque church of Sant Miquel d’Engolasters, with its magnificent 17-metre high bell tower, the second highest in Andorra. This enclave enjoys exceptional views over the valley of Andorra la Vella.
After the visit, we return to Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany, where the route finishes.
At all times during the trip we will be accompanied by an official tour guide, with an audio guide available in four languages (Catalan, Spanish, French and English).
