The Comapedrosa Interpretation Centre, the CIC, is a dynamic point of awareness-raising, education and information on the nature park.
It offers you a view of the flora, fauna and the geomorphology through different panels with explanations. There is also an audio-visual which shows the evolution of the park through the different seasons of the year and the different routes available for excursions.
The centre is a display of the park’s natural surroundings to show it to all people interested in the area, and also a space where the park is shown to those unable to get there.
Beyond the exhibition, the CIC is conceived to give sensory experiences related to the nature park and at the same time to inform on the principal themes related to the geological and biological surroundings, the water areas and traditional human activities.
Moreover, it’s worth noting that Andorra’s mountains are very popular with some athletes as a place to practice many different sports: hiking, mountain biking, climbing, canyoning, via ferrata routes, etc. So it’s no wonder that many people visit this 1,500 hectare park wanting to ascend the tallest peak in the principality: the Coma Pedrosa at 2,942 metres of elevation!
Request full information at the CIC and discover all the park’s secrets. Entrance is free. Request more information about opening hours at the tourist office.
