The Centre is in the village of Pal, in the parish of La Massana.
Romanesque Andorra Interpretation Centre gives you an audio-visual and a display to reveal the principal characteristics of Romanesque art and its evolution in Andorra. At the Romanesque Andorra Interpretation Centre you can see different original elements from different churches in the principality, such as the keystone of an arch decorated in mural painting from the Church of Sant Esteve in Andorra la Vella (12th century); a wooden pallet from the Church of Santa Coloma (Andorra la Vella); the side columns of the multi-coloured wooden altar from the Church of Romà de Vila (13th century – Encamp), and a thorny cross in multi-colour wood from the Church of Sant Serni de Nagol (13th century – Sant Julià de Lòria), and other items.
Services: Free or guided tours, 45 min. Last tour 45 minutes before close. Languages: Catalan, Spanish, French and English. Places limited to 30 per tour. Space adapted for the physically impaired.
We also remind you that you can visit the interpretation centre together with the church of Sant Climent de Pal by booking beforehand, and that this centre has a shop inside. If you will be visiting with children, this centre also offers activities for school groups, with a multimedia classroom, an audiovisual room, etc.
