TRENÇA ENSEMBLE AND AINA MARTIN

The  23/07/2015

Jaciment de la Roureda de la Margineda, ( Andorra la Vella )

Trença Ensemble and Aina Martin perform at the la Roureda site in la Margineda, in the 5th Festival of Ancient Music of the Pyrenees.

The appearance of the music of the Italian Trecento coincide in time and space with the building of one of the architectural jewels of the European Renaissance: the Duomo in Florence (1296 – 1436). Through the performance of works by Francesco Landini, and Paolo, Andrea and Lorenzo da Firenze, the multifaceted soprano Aina Martín and the members of the Trença Ensemble take us back to Renaissance Italy and present the musical panorama of Florence at the time of the Trecento to help us discover how the melodies written in the shadows of the Duomo of Florence sounded at that time.

The 5th edition of the Festival of Ancient Music of the Pyrenees (FEMAP) offers four performances in Andorra. The 2015 edition offers 45 concerts, 3 musical tours and 6 sessions of “Gastrofilm” and other complementary activities in 26 towns and villages of the Pyrenees in the month of July and August.
