2017 LOCAL FESTIVAL

From 28/07/2017 to 02/08/2017

Sant Julià de Lòria ( Sant Julià de Lòria )

The last weekend of July marks the start of festivities at one of the most famous local festivities in the Principality, that of Sant Julià de Lòria.

The Sant Julià de Lòria local festival offers five days of festivities, with a varied programme for all tastes and ages. A variety of magic shows, entertainment  and competitions for the little ones. Fun activities for kids, such as the urban water 'Mega Slide' (in Carrer de Lòria) among other street events. The traditional La Marratxa and La Passa dances, symbols of identity, which can be seen on Monday 31 July (12 noon and 6 pm).

Once again, the main theme of the celebrations is music. This year, among other performances at the local festival, Rosario Flores will be presenting her new record 'Gloria a ti' (Tuesday, 1 August, at midnight). The inexhaustible Javier Gurruchaga and the Orquesta Mondragón (Sunday, 30 July, at midnight). On Monday 1 August it's the turn of the National Classical Orchestra of Andorra (ONCA) & Ramon Mirabet, a musical combination full of surprises. For those who are more nostalgic, there's Albert Malla and his 'Nit dels Cocodrils', mixing hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s in his own unique way (Monday 30 July, double session at 10.30 pm and 1.30 am). All performances are in the Plaça de la Germandat.
