THE BLACKEST NIGHT
The 19th edition of the open nights suggests five evenings of attractive and very different styles.
PEXSOM BLUES will be closing this edition of the Open Nights. The group has 2 musicians highly experienced in different musical areas.
Eduard Carreras, guitar and vocals and Xarli Salas, electric bass and acoustic guitar, from such different groups as Blues de Rostroll, Siluets, Estels Blaus, Cabaret Grup, Border line blues Band, Llops Mar... Passed from blues to Habaneras and Habaneras to blues!!!
With a repertoire spanning between the versions and their own songs but always within the line of blues, swing, boogie, rock & roll or ballads in the purest style of Elvis. Since 2012 they have performed all around Catalonia and in such mythical halls as Jamboree BCN-Jazz, Terraza-Bebop, Tarragona-Sunset, Girona, amongst many other festivals.
Their music goes down well with all kinds of public for dining, dancing or simply taking it in. This year they are presenting their show “The blackest night”, and amusing tour of the history of black music from the 19th century, with touches of humour, coming up to the most modern blues and rock & roll. Living culture.
