Troubadours, poets and philosophers have sung from virtually the beginning of times on the mysteries of nature and love in all of its forms. At the “L’amor de la natura i la natura de l’amor” (love of nature and nature of love) Concert Show, the poet and Rhapsodian Enric Casasses accompanies the members of the Cor Cantiga choir and the young soprano Marta García Cadena on a tour of all of these chants. From the Llibre d’Amic e Amat by Ramon Llull (the 700th anniversary of whose death will be commemorated next year) to the madrigals of Claudio Monteverdi and Luca Marenzio, passing through the poetry of Ausiàs March and the expressive love songs of Thomas Tomkins, Juan Vásquez and Joan Brudieu.
