SANT JULIÀ DE LÒRIA 2017
This year the Carnival of Sant Julià de Lòria will focus on the world of cinema and films. The programme of activities opens with the traditional cercavila parade organised by the schools, and closes with the traditional taking down, trial and burning of the Carnival King. There’s lots of fun to be had during the week, with everyone, young and old, taking part in the carnival atmosphere. Treasure hunts, dances, botifarrada barbecues, batucada performances and several children’s shows all fill the programme.
Food has become a key part of the carnival festivities in recent years, and the “Tapas Route” this year has more than a dozen establishments offering a tapa and drink for just €3.
