ANDOSINOI 2018

ANDOSINOI 2018

From 23/06/2018 to 24/06/2018

Roureda de la Margineda, Santa Coloma ( Andorra la Vella )

Andosinoi, the Festival of Historical Re-enactment of Andorra celebrates its 2nd edition at the archaeological site of Roureda de la Margineda.

Historical re-enactment is a recreational activity and learning experience that grows year upon year. This summer you will once again enjoy experiences that will take you back in time, with the celebration of the 2nd edition of Andosinoi, the Festival of Historical Re-enactment of Andorra.

The archaeological site of Roureda de la Margineda is the perfect setting to discover first-hand what life was like in our valleys in the Middle Ages. A camp will be installed around the site, from which with rigour and faithfulness, six groups and around thirty re-enactors will allow you to experience what life was like at that settlement during the late middle ages ( 12th-15th Century).

Andosinoi will host diverse workshops, including dress, medieval music, poison and medicine, and also writing “scriptorium”, that will be complemented with late medieval combat displays, guided tours of the site and interactive children's activities.

Location and dates: Archaeological site of Roureda de la Margineda in Santa Coloma, 23 and 24 June, 2018. Saturday from 10 am to 9 pm; Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm. Fee entrance.

Organisers: Molines Patrimonis, Comú d’Andorra la Vella i Artífex, in collaboration with the Government of Andorra.
