Coll de Jou viewpoint

Ort und Kontakt

At this viewpoint you can see the sub Mediterranean undergrowth of the Coll de Jou, where the downy oak gives way to the boxwood.  The box is a slow-growing evergreen bush plant that changes to red in the winter cold.

The fauna you can see from the balcony are the birds of prey, as these mountains are ideal for their nesting. The common kestrel and the peregrine falcon live there all year, the vulture only flies over the area, the Egyptian vulture spends the summer months and the European honey buzzard and the black kite live there in the spring and summer.

This viewpoint is adapted to facilitate universal accessibility and information. It offers content in Braille, palpable reliefs and QR codes, which offer descriptions in signs language and locutions for people with visual and hearing disabilities in various languages. In addition, its design allows the access of people with reduced mobility.

You will find more information about this and other guided walking routes in the Andorra Mountain Guide.
